This approach combines killing these pests in your carpet,
along with treating your dog.
and they will be gone quicker than you think!
One of the stages in the flea life cycle is the pupae stage.
This is where the larvae is in a cocoon-type shell waiting to emerge as a young adult ready and more than willing to start biting and feeding from anyone or anything that moves!
The problem is, if left undisturbed, the pupae can remain ready to hatch for up to several weeks!
Your job is to trick them into hatching early!
When the pupae feels vibrations, they think that there is a food source nearby and will emerge from their cocoons to eat.
Simply running your vacuum cleaner will cause enough vibrations to trick them into leaving their protected cocoons to feed.
Then you just simply vacuum them up!
There is no need to change your vacuum bag every time you vacuum. Just put some flea powder on your carpet before you start vacuuming. This way any flea that you suck up, will not be able to escape.
I only change my vacuum bag when it is normally full and don't give a second thought as to whether or not a flea might escape from it.
You can vacuum as often as you think necessary, be it once a day, or a few times a day.
As long as you
have properly treated your Chihuahua,
along with regular vacuuming, you will no longer have to worry about whether or not your house has fleas!
