If your Chihuahua loves to chew on ice cubes, then she'll love these frozen dog treats!
These treats are quick, simple, and use everyday foods, and are only limited by your imagination.
The recipes on this page were made in the regular sized iced cube trays, but you can easily purchase the smaller sized cubes, or for that matter, there are all kinds of fancy designs on the market, if you really want to be extravagant.
And remember, frozen treats for dogs are not just to be enjoyed in the summertime! After all, we eat ice cream all year round, don't we?
Flavored Dog Cubes
These are simple and there are so many ways you can fix them.
Start with a can of chicken broth and add a jar of baby food meat to it, or try some tuna, or even carrots. For that matter, just the frozen broth would be a welcome treat!
When you add meat, or sometimes certain vegetables, it may sink to the bottom of the tray. It doesn't matter, as your dog will still love crunching the flavors.
Be creative and use her favorite meats and vegies.
Frozen Peanut Butter and Banana Dog Treats

Blend the peanut butter into the yogurt. It doesn't matter if you do not get it evenly blended.
Add the bananas, and then dip the mixture into the trays and freeze.
