Many people are under the false assumption that various breeds of dogs are pregnant for different time lengths. This is assumed because of the size difference between some of the breeds. They may have their puppies up to 4 days early, or even 4 days late. It is extremely important that you mark down when you bred your dog, so that if her due date goes beyond the time period by several days, you will have correct records for the vet.
