Dog Chew Toys to Help with Puppy Chewing

It can sometimes be very confusing in deciding what type of dog chew toys to buy.

In the decision making process of trying to get your dog chewing on his own property, instead of yours, then whatever your dog likes is the correct choice!

Does your adult Chihuahua like to chew on socks, clothing, or even your couch? Then have plenty of plush or canvas items in your house.

Does she prefer to eat the wooden table legs, cabinets, or door frames? Then give her cow hooves or harder plastic type toys.

Though you always want there to be a variety of items for her to choose from, her chewing behaviors will give you a good clue as to what she prefers the most.

When it comes to a puppy chewing on your objects, I'm not sure they even have a preference, they sometimes just seem to chomp on whatever is available!

Give them a full range of toys to choose from and as they age a bit, you'll be able to see what they like the best.

Some dogs absolutely love the squeaky, noise making stuffed animals, but others don't. Again, as you learn your Chihuahua's unique personality, you soon know what your money is best spent on.

When it comes to choosing items that are helpful in keeping your dog's teeth and gums healthy, then dog rope toys, rawhide chews, and cow hooves do an excellent job.

The cow hooves and rawhide is great for keeping tartar and plaque from building up, and the rope toys are great for helping to floss between your Chihuahua's teeth.
