The Best Way to Kill Fleas

Learning How to Kill Fleas is Quite Easy!

Most people do not realize that the best way to kill fleas is by allowing your dog to actually be the bait for fleas!

I realize that this sounds harsh, but let's face it, fleas are going to bite your pet anyway, so why not allow the proper dog flea and tick control products to do their job for you and your dog?

The key to getting rid of fleas is using what truly works and quit wasting time, energy, and money on products that do not work effectively.

Flea bombs, foggers, collars, shampoos, and traps do not work, as they only target the adult pest instead of breaking the flea life cycle.

Frontline Plus is a product that I highly recommend, as I have been using it for years and have never had any adverse side effects from using it.

It targets the complete flea life cycle and will kill almost every single adult flea within 48 hours. It will also kill ticks, but if they are not a problem for you, then the Frontline Plus does not need to be applied on a monthly basis, every 2 & 1/2 months will work just as effectively.

The reason it is so effective is that it prevents the different stages of a flea's life from developing properly and stops their life cycle by interfering with their reproductive abilities.

The way to use this properly is to not bathe your dog for 48 hours before applying it and for 48 hours after applying it.

It needs to blend with your dog's natural skin oils to properly work. Bathing at any other time is fine and will not diminish its effectiveness.

It is applied in one place, between your Chihuahua's shoulder blades. Depending upon your dog's coat type, it may leave an oily looking spot, but this will disappear within a few days. Do not try and wash this off.

Frontline Plus is safe to use on puppies as young as 8 weeks old.

If you have a puppy that is younger than this, then other alternatives for fleas will need to be applied.

Though I have not personally used them, I have also heard good reports about Advantage and K9Advantix. They work in the same way that Frontline Plus does.

The best way to kill fleas is by using this systematic approach of using these products combined with vacuuming your house. This will take away the worry of how to kill fleas as they will be totally and completely eliminated, not just from your dog, but from your home as well!
